Excellent point Jerry! The catch-22 of monitoring modulation on the receive side! If
we broadened out the filtering to catch the splatter we end up gathering all the other
nearby RF as well. Thus making our observation somewhat useless also. Especially
true on our crowded ham bands. So I agree with your view "looks great", but not as
useful as monitoring modulation on the transmit end where it's suppose to be checked.
Opening it up to 6KC and monitoring CW signals from old TNT or MOPA style
transmitters, like those used in the AWA 1929 contest, is pretty cool though.
