[Kenwood] Wanted: dead DC/DC converters from TS-850

It might be quite revealing to also identify the actual input, output
and loads. There have been many DC-DC converter chips created since the
TS-850, perhaps hundreds (look at catalogs from Maxim, TI, Analog
Devices, and Linear Technology and others). Perhaps some new chip and
circuit would work longer. Sounds like a project for a Piexx (who makes
a VS-1 I noticed recently).
Maybe its only a problem the leakage of poor quality electrolytics
eating traces like kill off the TH-27A. Or memory batter leakage that
eats control board traces in the TS-850.
I've downloaded the on-line shop manual but it stops with the page
before the DC/DC converter board schematic.
