[Kenwood] CW with the TS-850 and my computer?

Bill,
I was asking this same question a few days ago! I found several different
programs that can do keyboard CW. In the end, I settled for Hamscope. Wiring
up the 'puter to the 850 is a breeze. In 15 minutes I was keyoing away (or
should I say typing!). Once you have the macros set for the various function
keys, you are on your way. All you need is a transistor, two diodes and a
resistor. Read the help file and you will get all the info there.
There will obviously be others who can give more more guidance!
73,
Ron
