[Kenwood] problem with TS450SAT

Hi,
I've got a little problem with my TS450SAT. When I switch ON the transceiver,
sometimes, the display do not light up. I see only the led for filter like 6Khz
for 455KHz and 8.83Mhz. The sound seems to be good and I'm able to listen some
activity on the band. Everything seems to be in good working conditions but the
display does not light. After some seconds (between 2 and 20 seconds) the
display light up! So, at this time I can see everything and the rig is OK!
Do you have some suggestion??
One of my friend say to me that's could be my backup battery and I must change
it. But, I'm not sure if that's right cause all memory are still there when I
switch ON the tranceiver.
So if you have some suggestions or comments, let me know!
