Hmmm that's a sad story Ron.
You weren't specific about what on the ACC2 didn't work.
Did you use the ACC for ptt as well as audio, and if so does it still ptt ?.
If it is just the audio, and the rig works okay on ssb, then you need to dig
out the schematic and check the coupling between ACC and mic amp. Usually
the auxillary audio input feeds after the first mic stage so it isn't
controlled by mic gain. But don't have the 850 schematics to hand here. No
doubt other guys will have and be able to be more specific, but just confirm
what it is you were coupling through the ACC port, and is it a tx audio, or
ptt problem ?.
