[Kenwood] TS940 power supply problem?

Please tell me what these changes are. I'd love to not have this happen again.
Maybe Kenwood East included these changes in the repair?

The 940 /930 had power supply trouble from day one. It was not the design,
but poor selection of parts. Their are a few change's that will make it
bulletproof. I have never seen a 940/930 that at least one time in it's life
it did not blow up the supply... very common problem
