[Kenwood] Help! I destroyed my TS-660

Hi, everyone,
OK, for the people who keep insisting that I sound technically competent
-- here is absolute and utter proof that I am not, and probably should
never open my radios. Can you destroy a radio by putting in a CW
filter? I can.
I installed a YK-88C into my TS-660. The net result is that the radio
"On Air" light is continually on even when the rig is in receive mode.
T/R switching still works with the key or the SEND/REC button up front.
I get hiss like the receiver is working, but no signals -- not even the
expected birdies on 6m.
The only thing I see that looks at all wrong to me is a solder bridge
between one of the tabs on the side of the filter and a pin where a
capacitor attaches on the back of the IF board (the one with the little
yellow wire attached), but the more I clear solder off the more it looks
like there may never have been any daylight there.
I'm really angry at myself about now, as I've successfully installed
filters in a TS-660 before, not to mention a TS-120V and a TS-130V.
Argh! Any clues? ...or do I need to box it up and send it down to
AVVid?
I have very little ham equipment nowadays and being without this rig for
a number of weeks would really hurt. Any help is gratefully
appreciated.
73,
Caity
