Subject: [Dxbase] Heads-up on Operations using the callsign TO1A
(AmbiguousPrefix)
Just a heads-up about a callsign that are in the AMBIGUOUS category for
Prefixes ...
// TO1A //
Just saw that the callsign TO1A will be used from French Guiana on
24-25 November 2018. This callsign will default to France(F) because of the
Alias Map table mapping.
This callsign is currently MAPPED in the CALLMAP table -- so, we have to go
into the CALLMAP table and manually make anadjustment..
Main Menu/ Tools/ Database Access/ Country Prefixes ...
go to the CALLMAP tab .. Scrolldown to the TO1A entry and makethe following
changes..
Prefix = FYOld1 PFX = FMOld1 Date = 20181101 Put your mouse cursor into the
entry above or below this TO1A entry (left click) tosave it.
The CALLMAP table will now be updated in advance so that if you work this
station -- it will have the correct PREFIX in your logbook QSO window ...
