[Dxbase] Changing radios in DXBase

Its time to just admit it and play taps for DXbase.
Its been dead for about 5 years, and the smell is not attracting any
new users.
I had to move on, I did not want to, but was "forced" to, I work the
new bands
136khz and 475khz and with DXB not able to log those qsos, thus they
cannot be
uploaded to LOTW etc.
I had asked years ago for those bands to be added, such a small item,
and nothing done.
So in frustration I gave up.
I moved on to DXkeeper log, its free for one thing, and has hundreds
of more
features than DXbase. There is a learning curve but when you get a
little use
of it, its great so far. It imported all my DXB logs with no hiccups
and that was
the end.
You'all do whats best for you, but its past time to send flowers to
this funeral.

> Looks like I’m retiring my venerable yaesu ft1000mp for a new yaesu ftdx5000mp limited as my DXBase-connected base radio. I wondered what changes I’d need to make to have the CAT interface work with the 5000. I looked for the information online, but can’t seem to find a clear set of parameters to make sure the new radio will interface. Has anyone got a link to that information?
