This is a common occurrence. Mine has been doing this for years. Sometimes it will stay connected for a month and sometimes it will disconnect every day. I have tried changing to a different node but it hasn't helped. I just have accepted that it is "one of those things." I only seems to happen when I am not in the room....hmmm. Let us know if you figure it out.

Subject: [Dxbase] Internet Packet Disconnects
I'm finding that after a while my Internet Packet windows is losing it's connection and I have to restart it. The Keep Alive timer is set for 15 min. I've shortened that to 10 min, but I'm not convinced that's the problem I'm seeing. When this happens, I simply see lines of "Keep Alive Sent" (or something like that). If I check the connection with a SH/DX, nothing happens, so I know the connection is no longer active. This has happened from time to time in the past, but it's getting more frequent and annoying. What else might I set on my end to keep the connection from being dropped or simply becoming what amounts to dormant? I've been using the W4NJA node, so I suppose it's also possible the problem is on that end, someplace.
