 Merle,
Normally, when you see this happen - it is NOT ONLY the Log Display that
is hurt -- but, to answer your question directly -- to get back your log Display,
Close DXbase2007 - and then IF you have saved your default.co file or mycols.co
file - bring back the saved version of the file -- if you have NOT SAVED
those files -- you can do one of two things --
(1) IF you were using the CO file of default.co - then when you open up DXbase2007
this time - and the small Pathing/options window comes up -- select the OTHER
CO file that you have which could be the mycols.co... This will get your Log Display back
again ...
(2) IF you need to - you can MAKE a NEW CO (column order) file by using the
DXB Utility / Field Order ...
bottomline is that your *.co file got corrupted.. You simply need to get a working
co file and path to it..
LIKE I said though -- normally OTHER things (Summary Window, Packet Window, etc)
get smacked at the same time ... you might look at the other windows too to make sure
they are kosher..

Apparently DXBase did not close correctly and now I have lost my Log Display.
Can anyone help with a recovery procedure? I tried loading my backup database
copy but that did not do it.
Thanks,
