Joe,
I rarely contribute to the DXBase reflector, but I do always go to the archives when I have a question. You're always the guy with the answers. This time, it was Kingman. Thanks for everything you do and the wonderful update program you wrote.

ARRL announced that KH5, Kingman Reef, deleted country as of 29 March
2016. Could someone refresh our collective memories on the deletion
process in the DXB database please? Total number of entities now 339.
Hope everyone is getting Heard Island.

Steve,
To delete a country in DXBase, go to TOOLS, Data Base Access, Country Prefixes, when the Country Prefix windows opens, scowl down to KH5K, then move right in the window to you get the "Deleted" column, ?put a check mark in the box, and that is it.
You might need to "Initialize Tables" under the TOOLS menu for it to take affect?? ?

With the DELETION of KH5K .. I have updated my DXbase2007
Refdata/Logbook Analyzer and Updater program to include a CHECK
for DELETED ENTITIES.
The webpage at my Ham Radio website is at:
http://www.navycthistory.com/wa6axe/2007chkmdbs.html
The deletion of KH5K as an active entity is very straight-forward to do manually (by the user).
But, I knew that I also wanted to update my Refdata/Logbook Analyzer and Updater program
to include a check.
