[Dxbase] Reconstructing my log

Bud,
Yes, there is a way to do it. You might try K1MU's LoTW Query
page here:
http://www.rickmurphy.net/lotwquery.html
Put in the start and end dates for the WPX CW contest and you will
get an ADIF file that contains the basic log information. Make sure on
the above Query page that you do NOT check the "Report on QSL Records
Only?" box. If you check that box, you will only get back QSO's that
have been confirmed. Leaving the box unchecked gets you ALL your QSO's
for the date range you specify.
The returned ADIF file will consist of QSO's that look like this:
<APP_LoTW_OWNCALL:4>WF2B
<STATION_CALLSIGN:4>WF2B
<CALL:4>PJ4C
<BAND:3>12M
<MODE:3>SSB
<QSO_DATE:8>20120115
<TIME_ON:6>162106
<QSL_RCVD:1>N
<eor>
That should be sufficient to import back into your log. If the
contact HAS been confirmed on LoTW, the QSL_RCVD field will show "Y".
You may need to change that before importing the ADIF file into DXBase,
I'm not sure. I don't know how DXBase records your QSL's as being
confirmed so I can't comment in detail. DXBase may see that as a paper
QSL instead of an LoTW one. The simple solution would be to just use a
text editor like Notepad and use Find/Replace to remove all instances of
"<QSL_RCVD:1>Y" through the entire ADIF file.
I hope this helps. Good luck.
