Gary -= I too am running v 1.05, at one time I was running v. 1.09 but for a
variety of reasons not pertinent here, I decided to 'drop back' to the tried
and proven 1.05. Since I am perfectly capable of finding the station I want
to work listening to my receiver (not the Spots), turning my beam to the
heading (and figuring out whether it is SP or LP), I am capable to
determining what country the station is located in, I can even determine
whether I "need" the band country for DXCC. I figured all I want my logging
program to do is to LOG. Therefore, the newer versions of Dxbase don't fill
a need for me. Actually, the long awaited and long overdue v. 10 better have
some real bells/whistles as I don't see a present need for it in my own
shack. But then that's just me. I learned a long time ago when I was an
undergrad in EE lab how to tune an amp so I don't see any need for an Alpha
with microprocessor controlled tuning either.
