In my main shack computer I use this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001ENI3C4/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00 It is discontinued now, but the newer versions are available for cheap. Overall, most card with reputable chipset (Nvidia or AMD) should work just fine. By the way, newer computers often have dual-monitor cards built in out of the box. Just check the specs carefully. 73 Gene W3UA > -----Original Message----- > From: dxbase-bounces at mailman.qth.net [mailto:dxbase-bounces at mailman.qth.net] > On Behalf Of Richard Solomon > Sent: Friday, August 31, 2012 10:57 AM > To: dxbase at mailman.qth.net > Subject: [Dxbase] Windows 7 Dual Monitor Video Card Suggestions Solicited >> I am taking the great leap forward into the present and building up a > computer with Windows 7 O/S. >> I want to run a dual monitor setup with it. >> Any suggestions on a good video card to get for this setup ? >> Now, back to the Swains watch !! >> 73, Dick, W1KSZ > ______________________________________________________________ > Dxbase mailing list > Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase > Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm > Post: mailto:Dxbase at mailman.qth.net >> This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net > Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html >> ______________________________________________________________ > Dxbase mailing list > Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase > Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm > Post: mailto:Dxbase at mailman.qth.net >> This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net > Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html >
