Marco and Drew,
Back in DXbase2007 release NOTES -- Jack added the following:
//quote//
Added a new autoscroll locking function so that when you move your mouse cursor into
the Internet, VHF packet, or DXinfo spot windows, scrolling will automatically be
locked for 3 to 4 seconds and then automatically resumed. This feature will help to
reduce the issues associated with selecting an entry during heavy incoming packet
DX spot activity. If you have the scroll lock feature manually enabled, this will
over-ride the auto feature. This feature can be turned on or off by way of a new
menu item located under the VIEW menu in DXbase. You may wish to have it turned
on during periods of heavy packet activity and off during periods of slow activity
Because while turned on, packet spots are kept in a queue and are not displayed
until the next DX spot comes in after the three second timer expires. This can
be a little confusing during periods of slow packet activity, but is not an issue
when the spots are heavy.
//end of quote//
For Marco and Drew --- with this in mind -- pse try to CHANGE whatever you currently
have the set up --- if you see a checkmark next to the
Main Menu/ View / Use Auto Block Updates
click-on it and see what happens ... if you already have a checkmark -- click-on that
selection again to remove the checkmark ...
This is the one thing that IS different between 2005 and 2007 ......
Again - I was thinking about a TIMING issue ---
Pse try it and see what happens .. nothing lost here by trying ...

Hi Joe,
Thank for the fast reply.
The node I use is :"195.43.189.178:8000", after Your note I also tried :"IR9ESI.DYNDNS.org:7373" with the same results.
I use a standard telecom ADSL connection and a wireless lan on several home PCs.
On the same lan I also have an old win2000 laptop computer in wich I still have DXB2005 and on this, connected to the same NODE, the results are corrected.
Since this is the same hardware-internet configuration I used till last week on DXB2005 and was properly working, I would ascribe to DXB2007 the change in behavior ...
Sure It is strange You cannot repeat the problem on Your machine!
The DXB2007 version is 1.08.
I also sent a screen snapshot of my screen to Your email.
Hope it's help.
Tnx de I0MOM Marco

I print SH/DX on 20 and then I click on one of the callsign received I get an error message windows "Unable to identify the county prefix for callsign..." and looking in the previous QSO windows I see that the caracters examinated are not the callsign but the first caracters of the DXspot comment field.
