[Dxbase] Icom Split OK driver problem

Puzzling...I have run with my 756ProII and III for years and years with CIV Transceive ON.  I am glad you have solved your issue, but I wonder what is the reason?  Sometimes it is just as well not to know I guess.
On your 7600 I have a few 
questions.  When working DX perhaps from a spot which does not have a 
QSX in it, what steps do you take to go into the set up you wish for 
split or dual watch?  Do you have the 'quick' option enabled for these?  Is it adequate to push just the dual-watch key and hold it down for a 
second to get the desired result?  The new driver is, to my knowledge, 
setting both split and dual-watch.  When doing this manually have you 
been pushing both buttons to get where you want?  The 7600 will not 
provide any information about the state of dual-watch, only split, but 
Joe was able to use that to successfully do the desired settings, 
employing dual-watch and using the sense of split as a proxy for 
dual-watch...as I recall.
