[Dxbase] Ver 1.08

Big Mistake, running 1.08.

First, I didn't expect it to be a brand new 2007. I thought it was simply
an upgrade. One, like all the rest, where we just ran it on top of the
existing program. When I did that I lost everything. For a while at least.
Finally figured out that I needed to tell it to get mycall.mdb file. Then I
tried to get my old .ini files to give me my screen layout, etc. I tried
several version of my SAVED FILES and it is like DxB does not recognize
them. It keeps giving me what appears to be the standard, original issue,
version of everything. Still haven't finished resetting where everything
goes and the colors, fonts, sizes and such. Routinely I save all my .ini,
.co .mbd and some others, but they are not working as I expected them to.
The only salvation in this whole fiasco is that my log (mbd) is safe and
appears to be correct. But seems like nothing else is working correctly. I
sort of expected this upgrade to solve my DxB/DXAtlas incompatibility
problem, but it did not.

Still have not gotten DxB to talk correctly with my Radio. Still have not
gotten DxB to talk correctly with VE7CC. Somebody please give me the host
file entry to make the localhost situation work properly. I entered -
127.0.0.1 localhost - but that did not work. I seem to remember there
were some other characters after localhost. If you have them, please
forward me a copy.

I got really excited reading Joe's comments about what he has done that will
only work with 1.08. Guess I should have waited for the new version coming
out (maybe) in the near future.

Been sitting here for 4 hours now trying to get everything back up and
running.. Guess I will take a break. I'm frustrated. Big time.
