[Dxbase] DXbase2xxx installation problems

I note that Quicken is a complex program but a new edition each year
installs on my machine with little or no problem. Same for MS Office (or
Open Office if you prefer) Adobe, Java, etc etc

I purchase new editions annually of most of my regular software that I
use.never had been a problem until dxbase 2007 was NOT replaced with a new
edition, now 4 years have gone by and there have been changes in the OS
greater than the usual small incremental ones.

I'm just saying..
