They have to keep it free for us somehow, I say ok to ads, if it means I
don't have to pay....
[pjd] Or you can always use ad-blocking software (such as AdBlock Plus for
Firefox or AdMuncher). I use both and haven't seen an ad, popup or any other
such gibberish in 10 years. If you use Firefox, AdBlock Plus is a free
plugin. AdMuncher is cross-platform and costs a measly 30ドル for a lifetime
license. Since I use Firefox I also use FlashBlock to get rid of the
epileptic-fit-inducing QRZ.COM crap. Try it...your pages will load 100 times
faster!

Neal - one of my complaints about Yahoo is the ADVERTISEMENTS all over my
screen that appear when I read Yahoo groups, when I read the current
reflector I see nothing but my Outlook screen (Outlook v. 12 is my email
client) my pop up blocker is not able to suppress the Yahoo pop ups and I am
already fed up with rejecting the Yahoo toolbar which is do NOT wish to
install. I also do not like that Yahoo will not keep me logged in very long
but every few minutes demands that I enter by password and login again
claiming that as a Yahoo security feature "for my own protection." These
are among the reasons that another group I belong to finally said "Enough"
and abandoned Yahoo groups ( I was not the moderator or owner of that group
and had no control on the decision but welcomed it)
