Ok, post after post, this doesn't work, can't do this, can't do that
and so on. Not sure it even makes sense for me to up date.
Only ask that Neal or Joe answer or make comments to my post, don't
need to fill the reflector with comment after comment.
Here's what I have and my thoughts before I do anything.
I'm running XP with all the latest updates, DXbase is in the
c:\Program Files\Scientific Solutions\DXbase 2007\ directory and I
have a complete back up in C:\Backups\DXbase of everything.
My DXbase is 2007 v1.06 with everything working great. I use LOTW
and have my k8smc.adi, lotwreport.adi and LoTWUpload.adi kept in
DXbase directory. I downloaded DXB2007_109.zip from Neal's post this
morning, so it should have everything up to todays date.
So my thoughts on installing is to completely delete all DXBase
except what I have in the full backup director.
Install the new DXbase which should end up in c:\DXBase 2007
directory that it makes.
Then move from my backup directory K8SMC.mdb, refdate.mdb,
lotwreport.adi, LoTWUpload.adi
Is there anything I'm missing?
If I remember correctly DXbase 2007 came out in 2008, it's now over 3
years old and a lot of time has been spent on upgrades to it rather
than a 2011 or 2012 replacement. My thinking is that there is
nothing in this 1.09 that will change anything useful to me. But I
guess we are supposed to keep up with the Jones' .
Terry, K8SMC . . .
