[Dxbase] Moving DXbase to new Win7/64 computer

I have been running DXbase2005, -2006 and -2007 with different callsign databases and QSL cards on my old computer and plan to move everything to DXbase2007 on my new Windows 7 64-bit machine. The three versions have coexisted nicely on my old Windows XP computer but it crashed recently due to a mainboard failure (I do have backup!) and I don't want to move all the DXbase versions to my new computer, even if it is possible.
I know I must get a new key for DXbase2007 to allow the callsigns from DXbase2005 and 2006 to be used.
I know the procedure for installing DXbase2007 on Windows 7/64, as outlined by Neal, but before I do that I want to be sure I don't run into problems.
I have converted all the databases to DXbase2007 format and they all seem to be ok.
I plan to merge the databases with callsigns LA3LJ and LA3LJ/P into one database, but need to be able to handle QSL card printing separately for each call because the QSL cards are different.
- Can this be handled by just entering the appropriate callsign LA3LJ or LA3LJ/P in the operator field and select the proper call when printing?
- Is this the only field I can use for selection when printing QSL cards? I also use LOTW.
- Are there any issues when it comes to moving the QSL card files from DXbase2005 and 2006 to DXbase2007? Which file types need to be moved, and do I need to edit the QSL cards from previous versions of DXbase to accommodate (possible) changes in the embedded code?
Any good advice will be appreciated.
Arnie LA3LJ
