I guess you stopped for coffee in the middle if it took you that long?? :-)
Seriously I cannot see what the fuss is all about. I too updated my DXBase
in about 20 minutes (including coffee), and have always been happily adding
the new countries that came along, plus various prefix changes and IOTA
updates and new QSL managers ..the list goes on. DXBase is that versatile.
Maybe it does look "hard" on the surface but it is not when you try yourself
Always take the precaution of saving the data before you try and then you
can always go back a step
But you all do that already - right?
