I actually think that many are going straight to gigabit ethernet and bypass
the USB connections but we shall see. I was expecting more manufacturers to
follow Tentec's lead with the Omni VII on this but maybe because of the
great recession we just haven't seen many radios introduced in the interim.
I think most of the radios will act as mini-servers and we will be able to
incorporate radio User Interfaces in our programs that give you a skinnable
way to control it.
