I've been running Dxbase 2007 since it came out and fortunately I
haven't found or caused any problems that I know of since I installed
it. I should mention it's been running on XP-Pro and have found no
real reason to move to any newer operating systems. I'm sure one of
these days I may find a reason, but for now all I see is problems and
I don't see any reason to fix something that isn't broke.
Many seem to have problems with LOTW, I solved that by not using
it. Guess I should be fare, I only need two countries so I guess
when I get them the cost of QSLing won't hurt me too bad, HI.
My reason for dropping a note and something I should have mentioned a
long time ago. When logging a call sign into the entry log you must
use the shift key for caps, where as many other places like send DX
spot or Prefix Window or others this isn't necessary. Yes I know as
soon as you hit the tab key or enter, it automatically puts it in
caps. The rest of the logging line is fine as entering notes and
other stuff I wouldn't want changed.
One other thing I was wondering about, if I do a SH/MyDX and the info
comes back from a cluster, is there anyway you can send the radio to
one of the returned spots?
When 2010 or what every you call it comes out please tell me that it
will install on it's own correctly to any operating system without a
bunch of "got to go fix it's".
