[Dxbase] try this again... win 7

There is a master hosts file in the dxbase program directory and all you
need to do is copy it to the C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\ directory (if
my memory serves me correctly). Of course the Hosts file will be history in
2010 but until then...
Completely agree with the installation outside of the Program Files (or
Program Files (x86)) directory as its protected by Windows for any
programatic change (it diverts any writes to a virtual folder which is then
tossed away after you quit you program so it things it put stuff there but
it doesn't stay there when you quit). By installing somewhere else, you
defeat this virtual folder protection and I will change DXB2010 so it
doesn't store things there.
Also, you can store your log file in a folder of your choosing but people
normally leave it in the program folder. I am changing this in 2010 also, so
there will be a folder called "DXBase Data" in your Documents directory and
thats were it will defaul store the refdata as well as the logs (as well as
the hosts file replacement, etc.)
