[Dxbase] Port problems..

I recently had a mother board go belly up so was forced to upgrade my
PC. I now have a Dual Core system with 4 gig of ram but have
encountered a problem with the new mother board. It does NOT have ANY
serial ports.
I thought this would not present a problem as I have a Byte Runner
PCI to 8 port serial card. There is one Com port on the system board
but no cable to the rear nor any place to put a DB9 so I deactivated
it so it is not seen. I then configured my Byte Runner to see Com 1
thru Com 8.. Here is what I have connected so far.
Com 1=FT1000MP
Com 2=TS2000X
Com 3=W5XC Keyer
Com 4=Rigblaster
Com 5=Alpha 87
I can get the FT1000MP to work with no problem on Com 1 but when I
click the icon to switch to Com 2 it still controls the FT1000MP but
should control the TS2000X.
I looked in my INI file and it seems OK so I am lost at this point.
Anybody have any ideas? I am running XP Pro SP3 for the record.
Any help will certainly be appreciated. Thanks and 73 de K8SIX
BTW Byte Runner was bought out by VSCom
