Jack,
I really do appreciate the fine product that I enjoyed for about 15 years.
It was ahead of the pack and contributed significantly to my enjoyment of
the hobby. I enjoyed being a beta tester and appreciated your incorporating
some of my suggestions. It's impressive that the program didn't need
continuous bug fixes as many others do.
Thanks for contributing to the quality and enjoyment of ham radio.

Thanks Joe.
I was surprised that the ISP dumped the website so quickly too. I expected
it to stay up for a while but I forgot that today was the end of billing
cycle and so they pulled it down and cancelled their collection for next
month's fee.
While we don't have any guarantees, I feel obliged to mention a few things
just in case:
1. DXbase 2007 is rock solid and many have already tried it out on the new
Win7 operating system with good results. You've seen those reports
yourself, so you know that you'll be in good shape there. Earlier today I
posted a message that describes how you can modify your 32bit registration
code for use on a 64bit machine, so you'll have no worry about upgrading
your machine and still being able to use DXbase 2007.
2. We are in discussions with several persons/companies who have expressed
interest in purchasing the rights to DXbase. There may be others as well
since we are accepting inquiries for another couple weeks. No guarantees
about how that works out, but it wouldn't surprise me to see new owners and
continued support and enhancement work for DXbase.
3. We have no plans to remove the DXbase Reflector.
Thanks for all the kind words. Today is a bit humbling for us. Nothing
would please me more than to see new owners pick up where we left off and
continue to offer you the best logging software solution around and the sort
of quality you've come to expect.
Cheers,
Jack

I will leave my DXbase webpage at:
http://www.navycthistory.com/wa6axe/selection.html
open (for now) -- the only thing that I have done is to
remove the LINK to the DXbase.com website itself,
as the DXbase.com website is now gone.
But, for now, I will leave everything on my own
webpage there.
73,
Joe WA6AXE
