[Dxbase] Label Prefix - Why K4A?

Joe,
This still does not explain the discrepancy I am seeing with my labels.
i.e.:
W4CU comes up as prefix K4
W4UCZ comes up as prefix K4A
When I do random selections of callsigns for call area 4 I really don't see
a pattern for the prefixes..
I am now suspecting that the originals prefix rules for '4-land' have
changed since DXbase was first created.<?>
Maybe Jack could weigh in and give us the definitive answer?
As I said in my original message - it has me baffled!
Eric.
