[Dxbase] re: dxbase 2005 and vista

Im using it as i got away from the hobby for a while and never upgraded from 2005. I had to jump thru a couple hoops if i remember right to get it to recognize my subscripition but it all works fine. The only problem i have is of course all the newer computers are lacking com ports especially laptops and im using a usb to com cable and its slow. Anyone have any ideas on making it faster. Also unless i grab a spot from the cluster window it doesnt want to read the frequency either.. ? Other than that its working pretty good and i had a blast working cqww last weekend... Glad i put the effort into rebuilding my beams this summer..
