[Dxbase] interesting problem

Alan,
There are a number of reasons why this might happen... Some recently
installed or updated software overwrote some .dll files that we use and the
newer .dll is not backward compatible. Something has corrupted your video
driver and it needs to be updated/reinstalled. You have developed a weak
spot on your hard drive and the file being read is not being read
accurately. I suppose there are other possibilities too.
In any case, you will need to investigate those sorts of things. If all
else fails, I suggest you follow the steps in the help file for reinstalling
DXbase. It is important that you follow those steps to completely remove
DXbase before reinstalling; otherwise, simply reinstalling over the top
without removing DXbase first will not overwrite all the files and in your
case, I think it is necessary to insure you get a complete reinstall.
Regards,
Jack
