A few years ago this might have been a useful thing to do. these days
the Dxcluster network is very well connected and most clusters will get
a full feed. 
Cluster Sysops actively discourage multiple logins these days as it can
cause routing issues with talk messages, chat and cluster mail 
My own Dx cluster is hosted on a server in the states and is connected
to other clusters in Ireland,Italy and the states 
I don't filter spots but as a user you can set up filter(s) to suit your
specific needs or you can just let Dxbase handle it

Don‘t complain. Nobody will understand. Or care. And certainly don‘t try
