[Dxbase] dxb2006 (sp1) on Win XP SP2 - Error 157

For what it is worth, I had a similar problem that would shut down DXBase
2006 when I tried to connect to an internet telnet connection. What I found
was two things. Discover was running on my PC which I never installed and I
removed it. That cured the problem. I later found hundreds of URL's in my
Hosts files that were placed there by SpyBot Search and Destroy.
I had trouble removing those URL's and to date I had to rename the Hosts
folder that they were in as I could not delete the folder. I have not had
that trouble since. I could not make any sense of all this but you might.
