A simple solution (assuming you have a keyer paddle 
hooked up to the WinKey) is to go to Tools, options, 
CW options, Winkey options and set the keyer mode
temporarily to "Bug Keyer." That way the "dah" side
of the paddle can be used to key the transmitter.
Be sure to go back and reset the keyer mode for 
your preferred paddle function afterwards!
