[Dxbase] Correcting Prefix

Hello Group
A problem I have every now and them. I enter a call example 'EA3ABC Spain'
into the log and tab to the next column. I find that I did not get the call
right (typo or copied the call wrong in CW) so I click back and change the
'E' to a 'W' in the call. Now I try to enter the state but the prefix
column is telling me "Can not enter a state if the prefix is not USA"
I am trying to get in the habit to just hit escape if I get the call wrong
and start all over but sometimes I have already entered the signal report,
the guy's name and so forth and don't like having to enter all that again.
I have also entered part of a call while coping CW and tab over to get his
name and then back to get the rest of the call or correct it. This also
gets me bad prefixes. Perhaps it is a discipline thing where I need to
learn to get the entire call right before tabbing out of the field.
Maybe the next release of DXBase the auto entry fields are re-populated
anytime the cursor leaves the call field.
Thanks for reading :-)
