What I think you want to do is create a custom log.
You can do this by using the Dxbase Program Group>DXB Utility
This utility will allow you to create a special log format with just the
fields you want, and in the order you want
Use this to manually enter your qsos.
When you finsh, just select a DIFFERENT format/log descripition from the
startup choices that appear when you start DXB.
Your data will now be in the more generic default log design.
You can change your log design anytime. So if you create a simple design
just for typing in qsos.
And you find you need to rearange for more convienence, you can do so.
Just give each new design, a different name.
For instance, I have:
1 w9ol loglayout.co
1 w9ol manager.co
1 w9ol previous qso. co
default.co
etc. etc.
each log layout is usefull for certain types of operating.
obviously the 'manager.co' design is strictly for handling manager qsl
chores and only the fields I need to see are on the screen in the order I
need to quickly perform manager duties.
Good luck
