[Dxbase] Backups/Raid ETC

I use "Autosave" by V-Com www.v-com.com
It is fully automatic once set up and saves all the files you tell it each
time they change. I use an external USB hard drive. On the rare occasions
I have needed it Autosave has reinstrated by log 100%
In additional to that I do manually copy all the .MDB files I have (12
logs) manuially to the external harddrive from time to time
BTW DO NOT be tempted to rely on the use of a USB memory stick (USB key
drive. I recently ofund out that these have a quite limitted read/write
cycle life time. Ok for sharing files in real time but now I know more
about them O would not use it for anything else

I just left my ‘radio room computer’ at the repair shop. 
He asked is there anything on the H D that you need to save? 
Yes All .MDT file extensions. 
I had downloaded a new bit of software from a ham radio site 
and when I went to install the drive crashed. 

O K so I know and most people know that you should “back Up” 

What software are people using to back up? 

Point me in the right direction if you would. 

The sad part is that it was my first time working RTTYRU and I had not
printed the log. I was going to up load to Logbook of the world in a couple
of days.
