[Dxbase] Missing spots

If you have two machines, each with DXB7 and each connected to a ve7cc cluster.
(I'm assuming your not using ARU or CCU as the front end)
VE7CC has 3 iterations.
VE7CC ARC
VE7CC-1 CC Cluster
VE7CC-2 Spider
Each of the different call/csid connects to a different Node Software.
They don't ALL have exactly the same filtering and definitely don't have the same routing.
I do exactly what you do .... especially in contests.
I frequently see a variance between what is spotted on each cluster.
Occasionally, a spot on one cluster node will NEVER appear on the other.
So, if your alerts/filters in DXBase are exactly the same for both machines, than I'd
attribute it to the node, and it's incoming route is resulting is some spots not being
received by the node and broadcast to it's subscribers.
In my opinion, CCC node software is the most easily configurable, and feature richest.
CC Cluster is VE7CC-1
Of course you know that you can connect to the same node on both machines, Just enter
callsign-1 into the Internet User Login field in DXB on one machine and use callsign-2 on
the other.
CCCluster will accept that as two different people and you can either have identical
filtering or different as per your preferences.
I frequently use -1 for normal weekday dxing filtering, -2 for weekend stateside contests,
and -3 for weekend dx contest filtering.
Simpler to change the csid than redo the filtering each time.
Hope this helps, but is probably far more than you wanted to know. LOL

Subject: [Dxbase] Missing spots
I am currently running to incidents of dxcluster on 2 seperate machines.
One is using ve7cc ar cluster and the other to ve7cc via BxBase 2007.
I thought all my settings were the same, but DxBase does not show all the same
staions on my internet window. Are the alerts seperate from the dx internet
window?
What am I missing? Other then all the spots.
