Here are the system requirements straight from the DXBase web site.
Microsoft Windows 95/98/ME/2000/NT/XP 
Pentium CPU 
32 megabytes ram 
Hard disk drive with approximately 25meg free 
Windows 95/98/ME/2000/NT/XP compliant CDROM drive 
Windows compliant mouse or intellimouse 
Windows sound system ( optional ) 
Serial port for VHF Packet ( optional ) 
Serial port for HF Radio ( optional ) 
Internet access ( optional ) 
Serial or parallel port for CW ( optional ) 
Serial port for Rotor Control ( optional ) 
800X600 screen resolution (1024x768 17" recommended)

I am running 2006 on a Pentium III 850 Mhz laptop. It only has 248 MB 
of RAM in it. OS is Windows 2000. I am noticing that the program is 
running somewhat slow, windows hesitate on occasion, etc. I can only 
upgrade to 512 MB of RAM in this machine. 
Is this system adquate for DXBase?
