Never tried it with DXbase, but I had a some test gear at work which
required a serial connection in order to transfer information to my laptop.
The laptop has only USB, so I went to Radio Shack and picked up a USB to
Serial cable. Works great, now can communicate back & forth with the test
gear.
Maybe would work with DXbase also???
Good luck, Tim - N3XX
