Be sure to check the wiring of your circuit to see how the CI-V gets it's
power. Many get power from the RS-232 handshake pins. Once you've found
out which one, play with DTR High, CTS High etc, settings under Tools -->
Options --> User Options --> Radio1.
Also be sure to check "Connect HF1 Radio 1 Interface"

Subject: [Dxbase] Icom radio control and DXBASE 2007
Hello all,
I made over the weekend a new civ interface (from the AA8DX article in Feb
1993 QST); when I use N1MM, no problem retrieving information from the rig,
when I switch to dxbase 2007, I get nothing (using icom 756PRO III, 1200
baud, dtr high, word l. 0, parity none, stop bits 2.)
When I do a quick test under tools, set hf frequency, if I spin the dial and
do retrieve, I get info (the wrong info at times). My settings in the rig
are baud 1200, civ address 5ch.
Is there is anything I should tweak inside radio.ini?
Any suggestions are welcome...
Steve
