Carsten,
The log field uses hhmmss so that more than 1 QSO can be logged at the same 
minute. This is useful in USA county chasing and some DX operations. As 
such, it is required to be entered that way. However, population of the 
seconds is automatic if you don't enter it. Additionally, if you do not 
want to see the seconds, simply narrow the width of the time column.
