Why not copy your database file onto a USB memory stick and paste it onto
the laptop? Then reverse the process when you get home?

The DXB Import option may work also.
I've just never tried to do that.
Keep in mind that in the DXBase 200? Program Group, there are two basic
import programs One is for upgrading/importing DXBase created files to the
present version.
And is called DXB Import the other is for importing log files from other
programs and other file types such as .adi and that is called Non-DXB
Import.

If I wanted to take DX Base on a portable operation by loading it on my
laptop, am wondering if there was a way to append those files to the
database residing on my desk-top PC where DX Base currently resides?
