First make sure that you have it 'enabled' in the correct rotor 1 page3 on the User
Options.
Second, the first time you use DXB, you must tell it where the antenna is.
When it loads up, it doesn't know the heading.
So you may have to manually set the degrees you want to turn to.
That's what is meant by the error message.

Subject: [Dxbase] Rotor Interface Problem / Hy Gain DCU-1
I am having trouble controlling the Hy Gain DCU-1 from DXbase 2005. I cannot move the
rotator from DXbase.
I can control the rotor directly from the DCU 1, I have the jumper connector on the EXT
connector of the DCU-1.
On several occasions, not always, I received the error message " The beam heading
information cannot be found in the summary window"
My computer is an IBM think pad with a port replicator. The computer tells me that com 1
is active and working but I have nothing else to connect the serial port to for a test.
Any help??
