[Dxbase] DX time oops

Peter,
That's correct. When we looked at the extensive work that would be required
to handle DST throughout the world, we determined that most users would not
be willing the pay the cost for this level of development. So, knowing that
its use was pretty much intended to be exactly as you stated.... to have a
sense of the other guys local time, we felt our development didn't need to
take this to the extreme level of DST. We think the feature fills the need
that was expressed to us in the past.
