Go to TOOLS-OPTIONS-USER OPTIONS I uses the internet so I click on INTERNET tab in about the middle there is a section that says ANNOUNCE DX SPOTS IN VOICE AND SOUND EVENTS Check what you want to alert or not. Also if your missing only certain spots, Click on the ALERTS tab go to Global Category Filters. I usually have the Individual Mode and Band circle ticked.
Annother way to turn el;vey thing on or off bottom right of the whole screen you see a speaker next to the time clock a hand will appear as you move the mouse arrow over it. Left click and you can turn it on or off.
