Hi Gary
When PSK31 first started I built an interface that was on WM2U's web
page
and still use it for all my digital modes that use the soundcard. It
requires no
external power and works flawlessly. The address below shows the schematic
toward the bottom of the page. Look for WM2U infornation. It uses a couple
of Radio Shack transformers.
