Hi Jim,
Almost any program can be configured to be launched from within DXBase under the Programs heading if you have the memory. However your Geocron program won't interact with DXBase. DXAtlas does and it is the only geographic program that does. I'm at work but from memory click on connect and the map opens. When a packet spot comes up click on Zoom DX and it will zoom in on the DX station's location. Click on a log entry and then Zoom DX and it will do the same thing. Of course all pertinent geographic informaiton is displayed on the bottom of the screen. It's a fun toy and a handy reference. IMO if you are new to DX it might be more useful to you as a reference than if you are an experienced DXer. I rarely use it as I know where most DXCC entities are and I don't have many countries left to work. I use it more to show my wife where the station I'm talking to is.
