[Dxbase] problem with dxb2005, dx-atlas and fonts

I still seem to be trashing my dxb2005.ini file every time I try to change 
the fonts and design the log to a bigger font so its not the default. The 
program works with the default and dx-atlas, and I've changed the version 
in the options. I'm using the latest dxb2005 and the latest, 2.24 
dx-atlas. When I don't change the fonts everything works ok, but when I 
raise the fonts and get the log screen the way I like it, it 
crashes. Every time I try to connect to dx-atlas the program closes and I 
have to revert to a saved version of the dxb2005.ini file to make things work.
Its a brand new program and I'm still trying to make it work right on my 
machine. I'm running xp with a gig of memory. Both programs work well 
separately.
Any help would be appreciated.
I guess I could keep it at the default and buy a large magnifying glass.
