James,
I just reviewed the ARRL DXCC award info from their web site. Perhaps I am
missing something, but for Mixed, CW, Phone, and RTTY awards, all bands are
eligible. They make no mention about VHF vs HF. I also don't understand
your comments about something should only count for VUCC but not DXCC.
Perhaps you could review the DXCC info at the ARRL web site because I really
don't understand why you think there is some problem with these QSOs being
selected.

Subject: [Dxbase] DXCC submission update
Well I installed the DxBase update and it changed the entity name and
removed the duplicate for 4U1UN, it took away the 10 meter contact and left
the 2 meter contact; WEIRD.
So I go to output, awards, DXCC do the compute with just the mixed box and
exclude past submissions boxes checked, and the first two on the QSO form
are 4U1UN for 2 meters and YV0O for 6 meters, both should not be there as
they should count for VUCC only!
I have both of those callsigns in my log for 10 meter contacts, but the
file keeps bring up the 2 meter and 6 meter contacts. The only way around
this I can see is to remove those contacts from my log.
I just don't understand why the DXCC submissions has any connection with
the VHF frequencies. The report should ONLY look at the HF frequencies.
Anyone have any useful suggestions?
K2SNJ - James
